The Global Times reported that some travel agencies in Guangdong Province in southern China have stopped accepting reservations for package tours in Beijing.

The move came after Chinese health officials said they would tightly control travel to Beijing for the time being, the Global Times added.

China’s health authorities have urged travel agencies across the country not to create Beijing travel programs, especially during the New Year and Lunar New Year holidays.

Beijing city health authorities blocked several housing complexes in Shunyi District and conducted nucleic acid tests on 800,000 people in 13 regions.

Due to the confirmed case of Soon-i-gu, a fire spattered from Wangjing, where Korean residents mainly reside.

It was confirmed that a confirmed patient in her twenties living in Suni-gu worked for a company in Wangjing, Chaoyang-gu, where many Koreans live, and a total inspection was conducted in the three Wangjing areas until the 27th. The number of inspection personnel alone reached 300,000.
