French President Emmanuel Macron also delivered a speech in which he praised the historical significance of the establishment of bilateral relations and expressed France’s desire to increase pragmatic cooperation with China and strengthen coordination on addressing global challenges and resolving international crises. The two countries agreed to hold a number of events in the Year of Tourism, starting with a gala ceremony at the Palace of Versailles in Paris on January 31.
