KONTAN.CO.ID – BEIJING. Chinese President Xi Jinping said he highly valued China’s unique friendship with Cuba. This was conveyed by Xi on Monday (28/9) as quoted from the official government portal Beijing China.org.
Xi added that “Panda” country is ready to help make the two countries good friends, good partners and good brothers forever.
The General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party also exchanged congratulatory messages for the Main Secretary of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC), Raul Castro Ruz, and the President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel.

The exchange of messages was in the framework of celebrating the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Cuba. Diaz-Canel, meanwhile, described diplomatic relations between Cuba and China as a policy action on historic justice.
On Twitter, Diaz-Canel recalled that Cuba was the first country in South America to establish ties with the People’s Republic of China. “We are honored for our friendship with China. It is an expression of the independence of our foreign policy, ”Diaz-Canel wrote on his Twitter account on Sunday (27/9).
On September 28, 1960, the late Fidel Castro, proposed ending ties with Taiwan. This is intended to establish a relationship with the People’s Republic of China, as reported by Prensa Latina.
