“We have had three meetings, two with the delegation and with the prefecture. Our authorities have the best predisposition towards us to receive the University of Chile in San Fernando,” commented the president of the club, Héctor Bozán.
In dialogue with El Rancagüino, the boss of the Mimbrero club, pointed out that there is good dialogue between both institutions. “The truth is that there is a very good relationship between the two, and among the fans as well. The U fans sponsored us, they accompanied us throughout the year after the Copa Chile match,” he said.
Of course, regarding the capacity for this friendly meeting, the manager stated that we still have to wait, since there are still procedures that must be carried out by the police prefecture. “They are going to do an evaluation to indicate the capacity that we are going to deliver. Our idea was to do it at the local level, but our stadium – the municipal stadium of Chimbarongo – does not give us the capacity, but we have the province’s stadium that allows us this type of events.
It should be noted that the Jorge Silva Valenzuela stadium has a capacity of 5,700 spectators and, clearly, in the green team they expect to be authorized a number close to that figure.
