“Chile has to enter the production of vaccines for the region”

Former Undersecretary of Healthcare Networks louis castle analyzed the health situation in Chile and commented that, for example, “today with the emergence of this monkeypox, smallpox vaccine is being talked about again, bearing in mind that now some oral medications have appeared for the treatment of this disease.” Even so, he added, “it is evident that the production of a vaccine, especially this one against COVID-19, has had a gigantic molecular development in the shortest time ever seen (…) Chile I believe that it has to enter the production and technological development of vaccines for the region and have a number of professionals prepared for that”.
