“Charles will grunt again.” As Pelta lobbied millions for acquaintances

Former football association pilot Miroslav Pelta knew how to use various counter-services and attention to attract influential politicians and businessmen. He did not focus only on the currently high figures, his attention did not escape even those who moved rather in seclusion. He bet that they continued to maintain a significant influence in their home pages.

Anyone would expect Pelta to look for liaison officers – whether politicians, businessmen or judges – in top football. By mistake, the boss found them in the “forest” league, in small district to village clubs. The millions he intended to pump into them were in the tens.

This is shown by materials related to the investigation of the case of sports subsidies, which the List Report inspected. Pelta and others are facing charges in the case, and another court trial awaits him on Monday.

A friend from Jinonice

The Motorlet Praha football club from Jinonice in Prague plays the third highest domestic competition. Rudolf Blažek is sitting in the chair of the chairman, who is constantly improving and renovating the facilities of the “motoring” stadium. While his club plays in the third football league, he himself played the highest in the political competition until recently. In addition, he maintains a good overview of Prague politics to this day.

Especially in the first decade of the millennium, Blažek was one of the most influential men in the ODS. He was the deputy mayor of Pavel Bém, in 2011 he got into the deputy position at the Ministry of Defense, where he was in charge of the armaments section. His influence did not escape the attention of Pelt, who was associated with Blažek by a party card.

“I have the quality of waiting for loyalty. I have been on the ODS council for 24 years and have never voted other than my coalition. As I say, I am brought up in such a way that if it was the greatest nonsense and I did not agree, I would be here for a party, leading the party, I am like this, “Pelta explained his commitment to the then Deputy Minister of Education Simona Kratochvílová.

It was written in January 2017 and calls between Pelta and Kratochvílová in a secret apartment in the center of Prague were monitored by the police. The deputy, who should appear in court for the first time after the weekend, described to Pelt how she understood the important politician of the Prague CSSD, Karel Březina, who at that time was especially close to Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka.

“I played it nicely with him (Březina) after you left. I asked him about some things, he was happy. I just recorded 30 mega for him, you know ?! ”Kratochvílová said enthusiastically. Pelta did not understand. “The Motorlet,” she had to explain. At that moment, the then head of Czech football caught on. “Ruda Blazek, he is his great friend. It’s from the ODS and he wants it there too, “Pelta added.

Although Březina and Blažek were from competing parties, they are among the biggest backstage matadors in Prague politics. “Karel will grunt again – I’ll play it with the Red Blazek, he’s my friend,” Pelta explained.

Deputy Kratochvílová assured Pelta that Motorlet was an exception and, unlike other Prague clubs, would receive a subsidy from the ministry. “He’ll get thirty,” Kratochvilova mentioned. “Will you give him thirty?” Pelta wondered. On the other hand, it was clear to him that he would not reach everyone in this way, so he preferred to tame the deputy in sums. “I’d give him twenty. That’s enough, they can handle it, he’s handy. “

After the police detained and accused Pelt and Kratochvílová in May 2017, the Ministry of Education stopped paying subsidies. Not only Motorlet got any money in the end. “I don’t know what Pelt said, but Motorlet got zero. We asked for 20 million, but the result was zero. Of course, Pelta knows what Motorlet is, he knows our premises. Mr. Březina certainly too. If they talked about us, they certainly didn’t help us, because a big zero was looking at us in the ministry’s proposal, “said Blažek, the head of Motorlet, in the News List.

He considers lobbying at the top of the football association to support clubs to be an important and standard activity of football officials. “I have known Peace Pelt for years, he was in the Jablonec ODS. I have known Karel Březina for 20 years, we sat together in the council. For Motorlet, everywhere, but especially with Pelta, I don’t remember talking about it together. In principle, I wouldn’t mind, on the contrary, when I need to get money for Motorlet, you have to turn to the chairman of the football association, “said the former second man of Bém’s coalition at Prague City Hall.

The list of the Report also contacted Pelt and Březina, but neither responded to questions regarding the allocation of subsidies.

Heartthrough from Semice

The seventh highest competition, more precisely the 1st B class of Středočeský, is played by AFK Semice from a village with a thousand inhabitants. Their passionate fan, player and mover is the already mentioned Prague politician Karel Březina. As police wiretaps revealed, thanks to Deputy Kratochvílová, a contribution was planned for him at the Ministry of Education.

“I’ll put Semice back in the game,” Kratochvílová suggested. Pelta acknowledged that. “(Laughs) So he doesn’t look stupid there, poor thing. You, I was in those Semice. Dude, this is the world. Those benches, completely district championship. The two of us were sitting there, people watching what was happening. You, he is such a heartbreaker, he plays the b-shirt, he likes it, “he told the deputy.

Here Pelta mentioned how he is looking forward to a friendly match between Březin’s squad and the FK club Jiskra Mšeno from Jablonec, whose manager and player is his son Adam Pelta. Even for him, as police bugs revealed, the football boss tried to arrange subsidies from the ministry.

“My boyfriend has the SK Mšeno club. We have a boyfriend, Semice. He has a guy who has a great vegetable garden, awesome. I love vegetables, so drive me. We are crazy. But you’d be a great boy, man. That’s how you would be with us at every event, at every football, “Pelta flattered the deputy.

He also kept urging her to understand how strategically important Březina was to them – especially because of her friendship with the then Prime Minister.

“Karel is Sobotka’s darling, he balances everything. And I’m a street… Karel is an old practitioner. I’ve known him for 15 years. Of course, Karel is just as excited as all of us, that’s clear. If he wasn’t, he wouldn’t have survived it all. There is a holder that he will not sell you, “described the owner of the Jablonec football club. “Karel needs to feel like I’m listening to Karel. Not me, that’s clear, “added the boss.

Judge cruiser

Police baits from Pelt’s secret apartment also recorded how Deputy Kratochvílová talks about a subsidy of 9.9 million crowns for a football club in Jílové near Prague. “So we’ll agree to put Jilov in a later program. There, Petr Doležal, my former director, is stupid again. That’s ten, “Pelta added.

The Central Bohemian team of FC Jílové also plays the imaginary seventh league, as well as the already mentioned Semice. Petr Doležal, the former head of Slavia and vice-chairman of the football association, has long been associated with the club. In addition to this ex-boss of the Pelt Jablonec Club, another name attracts attention in the management of FC Jílová. The chairman of the club’s audit committee is Stanislav Bernard, vice-chairman of the Prague High Court.

According to a recent finding of List of News in 2016, the football association managed by Miroslav Pelta paid him and today to the former chairman of the High Court Jaroslav Bureš a luxury football trip for 123 thousand crowns for the European Championships in France. Because of this, the new chairman of the High Court, Luboš Dörfl, called for his resignation, but the judge did not comply with the request.

We wanted to ask the vice-president of the High Court how he perceives the fact that FC Jílové was supposed to be among the chosen subsidy clubs. However, it was not shared. “Well, you don’t have to ask me that. Write down what you want, I don’t care, goodbye, “he snapped irritably.

A sensitive sponsor from the south

Pelta wanted to satisfy somewhere, but the volume of the pillow with subsidies began to take on disproportionate dimensions. Pelta and Kratochvílová began to recalculate the list of selected clubs literally on a calculator. They were horrified to find that he would not get to all of them.

“Dude, what now. He’s dead. I can still throw 10, 15 million at someone else, but I don’t stand a chance. These are things that are arranged – I mean influentially, socially. There’s always a big player behind it, you know what I mean. Yeah, that’s fucked up. I have no solution, it’s over, “Pelta said.

“I won’t put a motorlet (Rudolf Blažek) there. I will tell Karl that I will give it to him in the regional program, “Kratochvílová commented on the situation. However, she was afraid that Březina would not be angry with her. “If you agree with Karl that he won’t insist on that Motorlet. ‘I’m telling you, you get a thousand percent in the grant program, but you have to talk to him. I have the duvet ready for him there, “Kratochvílová devised a rescue variant according to the wiretaps.

Pelta wanted home support from North Bohemian clubs – both his Jablonec and the club in Varnsdorf, where Pelta was born. Because of this, he was willing to sacrifice subsidies for a club in Mšen run by his son. “Delete FC Jiskra and put the city of Jablonec there. That’s the same money for 6.5. Seriously, for me it’s a closer shirt than a coat. I have to have a face there, “said Kratochvílové.

In the end, however, Pelta backed away from these demands as well. As a result, it turned out that he insisted mainly that the money went to the football club in Hodonín. He plays in the fourth league, specifically the Moravian-Silesian division. Its general partner is the mining company MND, which belongs to the KKCG empire of billionaire Karel Komárek, who at that time was one of the key sponsors of the Pelt Jablonec Club. “We have to be sensitive. I need Hodonín. This is mine, 15 million, and what will affect mine, “Pelta said.

Pelt’s departure from subsidies for “his” north was not against Deputy Kratochvílová against fur. She explained to Pelt that at least she wouldn’t look suspicious that the money had passed to his home clubs. “It will be interpreted that he wiped Pelta,” the deputy imagined. “I’ll talk too. I’ll tell the famous commission to fuck off, “Pelta planned.

And four months later, he was arrested by the police for subsidy machinations.
