Charity concert for Ukrainian refugee families with children “Help me get up!” / LR2 / / Latvian Radio

March 26 from 14.00 to 18.00 Mežaparks Grand Stage will host a support concert for Ukrainian refugee families with children “Help me get up!”. All proceeds from the tickets will be donated to the Children’s Hospital Fund, directed to the psychological support and treatment of Ukrainian children.

It is the children who are feeling the effects of the war the most, and it is the Ukrainian children who need help the most at the moment. Through musical performances and other cohesive activities, we will donate and support, encouraging, strengthening and helping to get up again – physically, emotionally and together.

The event will be hosted by Dita Lūriņa and Aivis Ceriņš. The concert will be supported by the President and his wife, the Mayor of Riga, the Minister of Health, representatives of the Board of the Children’s Hospital and the families of Ukrainian refugees.

Musicians will perform in the concert:

Latvian Voices and Maria Savenko (UKR), Ance Krauze with children, Sējāni family, Juris Kaukulis with daughter Rūta, Kristīne and Marts Kristiāns Kalniņi, Edgars Kārklis, Anmary, Zigfrīds Muktupāvels, Carnival Youth, Ieva Kerēvica, Emīls Balceris, Andris Ērglis Rudāne, Aija Vītoliņa, Daumants Kalniņš, Ieva Sutugova, Jānis Stībelis, Ainars Mielavs, Atis Zviedris, Māra Upmane-Holstein, Goran Gora, My Radiant You, Miks Dukurs, Jānis Aišpurs, Aija Andrejeva, Ralfs Eilands, Salumand , chamber choir Notch Planet and Jāzeps Mediņš Riga 1st Music School Boys’ Choir, Julian and MC Orchestra.

A wall of children’s drawings will be created, so even the smallest supporters are invited to bring their own works of art or create them during the event.

The concert is organized by the Children’s Hospital Foundation, the Latvian Children’s Oncology Foundation and the Riga City Council.

Confirming their support for Ukraine, all participants participate in the concert voluntarily. Thanks to the artist Roberts Pētersons for the illustration of the event and to the creative agency NORD DDB Rīga for the development of the visual concept.

Tickets can be purchased at Ticket Paradise ticket offices and online. One ticket is a donation of € 3, € 10 or € 20, without charge. Ticket site: https://www.bilesuparadize.lv/lv/event/116104
