Chain reaction has been removed from the schedule. The beloved summer quiz of Rai 1, now at the end of the season, did not air on 23 September: here is the motivation and comments of Marco Liorni.
On 23 September “Chain reaction”Was canceled and therefore did not go on air as usual at 17:30. In its place there was a special episode of “Life live“With the journalist Alberto Matano in charge, which lasted until 20:00, and then gave way to TG1.

This choice was made because it would be very difficult to stop suddenly a some of a quiz for a live broadcast. At about 5.15 pm, in fact, Rai 1 broadcast the ceremony of returning the flag by the athletes who took part in the Olympic Games e Paralympics in Tokyo 2020.
