Čmelík has 39 starts and four goals in the Czech league for Karvina, with whom he was relegated from the top flight last season. He also worked in Žilina, Sion, Gliwice and Dunajská Streda. In the past, he was coached in Karviná by the current Dynamo coach Jozef Weber.

“Certainly that also decided that I’m here. We’ve been dealing with it since the beginning of preparation. Karviná didn’t want to release me, so in the end I’m glad that the clubs came to an agreement,” Dynamo Čmelík was quoted as saying by the website.

The South Bohemians, who won 2:0 over Pardubice in the opening round of the league season, will be available for the weekend’s home clash with Sparta. The Slovak offensive all-rounder is Dynamo’s sixth summer signing.
