A number of heavy music groups will perform in Riga in November, with “In Flames” at the forefront

From Friday, August 5, ticket sales for the concert of the legendary Swedish metallers “In Flames” on November 13 at the Palladium concert hall will begin in the “Biļešu Serviss” network. They will be supported by a number of bands no less well-known in heavy music circles.

Along with the new and also well-known musical material of “In Flames”, at the November 13 concert, fans of the metal genre will also be delighted by such heavy metal bands as “At The Gates”, “Imminence” and “Orbit Culture”. If you also take into account the fact that the “Paradise Lost” concert is scheduled for November 11 at the “Palladium”, “As I Lay Dying” on November 14, and the legendary “Kreator” on November 23, then it becomes clear that in November heavy music adherents can safely take leave and move to “Palladium”…

Gothenburg melodic “death metal” band “In Flames” has existed since 1990, it has 13 studio albums to its credit, the last of which, titled “I, The Mask”, was released in 2019.

“In Flames” have been nominated for three “Grammis” awards (the equivalent of the Swedish “Grammy” award), winning two of them – the group’s albums “Soundtrack to Your Escape” (2004) and “Come Clarity” (2006) were recognized as the best of those years for records in the heavy rock and metal category. “The melodies, harmonies and lyrics of the union, which characterize the distinctive style of In Flames, have evolved with the times. Fans from all over the world, who call themselves “jesterheads”, can count on “In Flames” to inspire them to listen to the best metal music in the future, following the slogan “In Flames We Trust”, this is how the organizers announce these Swedes. It should be noted that the band released their latest song ‘State Of A Slow Decay’ this June to celebrate re-signing with the band’s record label Nuclear Blast Record, but that means something new is also brewing.

“At The Gates” is also from Gothenburg, and this group was also formed in 1990, and they have seven studio albums to their credit. However, in the mid-90s, this group had a much greater influence in European and global heavy music, and the last album was also released relatively recently – “The Nightmare Of Being” was released in 2021. The other two bands are younger: Imminence is from Trelleborg and is known for its unique fusion of heavy metal and fiddle music (its latest album Heaven In Hiding is out in 2021), while Orbit Culture has a more metal-chorus sound, with a discography of three albums and three EPs, the latest release of which is the mini-album “Shaman” launched in 2021. In any case, none of these groups are the ones that would make listeners want to go to a cafe, because on November 13, “Palladium” is expected to be a heavy evening in every sense!
