The Dominican Government announced this Friday the extension of the National Vaccination Plan through the night shift, which will be carried out in the months of August and September in different parts of the country.
The process is part of a pilot plan launched by the Health Cabinet, coordinated by Vice President Raquel Peña, which is executed continuously and in which all doses are applied, including the booster, reported a statement from press.

The doses are being placed in commercial locations and cinemas such as Caribbean Cinemas, Silver Sun Galery, Cinemacentro Malecón, Plaza Duarte Carrefour and Coral Mall; concomitantly to the fixed centers already established, to achieve herd immunity as soon as possible, the note said.
This Friday, the conference is taking place on Abraham Lincoln Avenue, the Malecón de Santo Domingo and the Colonial City, specifically in the Palo Hincado, Cristóbal Colón, Enriquillo and Duarte parks.
In addition to La Barquita, Venezuela and Sabana Perdida avenues. In Santiago it takes place on the Boulevard de los Artistas, in the Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration and Cinemacentro. From Wednesday to Friday from 6 in the afternoon to 10 at night and on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 to 11 at night in the indicated places.
The initiative aims to give continuity to the National Plan and Permanent Vaccination Day. In the Dominican Republic there are a total of 10,381,459 doses applied against COVID-19.
