In 2019, the Mexican actor and model announced, through their social networks, that Dante, her three-month-old son, had died of meningitis.
After his birth, the little boy had contracted the disease, causing several of his vital organs to be affected.
The advancement of bacterial meningitis had caused her to suffer from heart problems and kidney difficulties, in addition to pneumonia.
Under the circumstances, the couple campaigned to raise funds to pay for treatment and save Dante’s life. Although he was already overcoming his heart involvement, the baby died on August 8 of that same year.
“Goodbye, Dante. Goodbye, my love,” Valencia wrote on her Instagram profile to spread the news.
