Casper Ruud wants to beat Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic

“Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. It was more for them. When you are young it is hard to believe that you can be there yourself and beat them. They are more like an inspiration, but the older you get the more you start to believe, and sometimes you can train with them. They are obviously better than you, but maybe not as much as you think, ”Ruud said when asked about his dream wins.

The 22-year-old has a bright future ahead of him and dreaming of beating the big guns is one of his targets. Young, everyone dreams of playing their idols; however, very few realize the dream.

Ruud on the role of Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer

Casper Ruud described his experience playing against Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic previously. However, his demeanor was also professional back then and he had a thirst to win.

“I was lucky enough to play against Novak Djokovic and Federer once, when I entered the pitch I went to try to win. You have to try to see them as another player you want to beat, ”Ruud said.
