Our Belgian readers will be delighted to learn that the payment service ofApple is now available at ING Belgique. Bank customers can therefore register their credit card in the Wallet app, which activates de facto Apple Pay. The withdrawals and withdrawals of accounts made via Apple Pay can be viewed on the App ING Banking (Lien App Store – Free – iPhone / iPad). Apple Pay can be used for online payments and at merchants with compatible payment terminals.
It is an understatement to say that ING Belgium took its time to integrate the service: Apple Pay has been available at ING in France since September 2020, knowing that the bank was already largely behind the other heavyweights in the banking sector. . One last tip to finish: beware of phishing attempts, which have been targeting ING and Apple Pay customers in particular for several months. In general, no “sensitive” data should be entered elsewhere than on the official ING website.
