Case of 300 Land Certificates Confiscated by BLBI, Hadi Tjahjanto Ensures It Will Not Do Harassment to Jasinga Residents

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Hadi Tjahjanto ensured that he would not harm the Jasinga residents whose lands were confiscated by the Bank Indonesia Liquidity Agency Task Force (BLBI).

For that, he will explore this problem by finding out the cause of the problem.

“However, given the problems that develop, an in-depth investigation will be carried out to find the cause,” Hadi explained in the release received Kompas.com, Monday (27/6/2022).

This will be done through close coordination with several related parties, especially with the Head of the Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance Task Force (BLBI Task Force), including the police.

According to him, objects in Jasinga District, Bogor Regency, have been legalized through a land redistribution program of 300 plots.

Then, it has been carried out in accordance with the stages listed in the applicable laws and regulations.

In principle, according to the initial good intentions that underlie the Agrarian Reform program, Hadi guarantees that no people will be harmed.

“The solution to the problem of the 300 certificates is currently being drawn up, and once again it will not harm the people, and is in accordance with the commitments from the government or in this case President Joko Widodo (Jokowi),” he said.

In fact, said Hadi, Agrarian Reform is the government’s effort to reorganize the structure of control, ownership, use and use of land in a just manner through the process of structuring assets.

The Ministry of ATR/BPN has so far carried out asset management, one of which is through the process of land redistribution.

Land redistribution itself is carried out on Agrarian Reform Object Land (TORA), which is land controlled by the state, and/or land that has been owned by the community for later redistribution or legalization.

One of the objects of land redistribution is the ex-Hak Guna Usaha (HGU) which has expired.

Then, no extension is requested, and/or no renewal of their rights is requested within 1 year after their rights expire.
