Police are still investigating the case of four of their family members who died ‘drained’ in Kalideres, West Jakarta. During the investigation process, a number of new facts emerged.
The four members of one family who died in Kalideres were Rudiyanto Gunawan (71) who was a father, Renny Margaretha (68) who was a mother, Dian Febbyana (42) who was a child and Rudi’s younger brother or uncle named Budiyanto Gunawan ( 69). Witnesses around the place and related to the family were questioned.
Here are some factual details:
1. Police examine 23 witnesses
Polda Metro Jaya Dirreskrimum Hengki Haryadi said his party examined 23 witnesses in this case. He said, from a number of witnesses, there were environmental security (security), RT witnesses, to neighbors.
“Twenty-three witnesses (interviewed) is a lot, connected witnesses. Security, RT head, neighbors,” Hengki said at a news conference in Polda Metro Jaya on Monday (11/21).
2. Found 4 KTP
Hengki said his team found four neatly arranged ID cards (KTPs) at the house where the body had dried up in Kalideres. However, Hengki did not want to rush to conclusions regarding the results.
“At TKP we found KTP neatly arranged, in each person’s names (the ‘dried’ bodies),” Hengki Haryadi told reporters at Polda Metro Jaya on Monday (21/11/2022).
The police will not be negligent with the findings of the four KTPs. The police will connect the KTP with the four bodies in the house.
“We have to make sure this body is really what it is on the KTP. We have to make sure it’s true, don’t let us be careless,” he said.
3. The Savings and Loans Cooperative returned last May
On May 13, the officer of the savings and loan union was pawning the certificate for the house. The co-op officer was greeted by Budiyanto, the uncle of the house.
The co-op officer was even surprised to see and touch the body suspected to be Mrs. Renny. However, Ms. Renny’s husband Rudiyanto Gunawan was nowhere to be seen.
“Not visible. Only two are visible: Dian and Budiyanto,” Hengki said.
