Announced since almost a month by TP Mazembe, the transfer of Jackson Muleka (20 years old) to Standard de Liège was formalized this Tuesday by the Belgian club. “Standard de Liège, TP Mazembe and Jackson Muleka have settled the final details of the transfer. The young Congolese striker and international has officially signed up with the Rouches!“The Standard wrote on its official website.
After having settled the administrative formalities which delayed his departure for Belgium, the Leopard arrived on Saturday and is currently observing a period of fourteen. Les Rouches have not released details of the deal, but the latest news was that there was talk of a move to around € 1.5m with a 4-year contract plus an optional year. As a reminder, the TPM would also have negotiated a clause guaranteeing it to receive more than 45% of the capital gain realized on a possible future transfer.
Considered one of the greatest hopes of African football and top scorer in the current edition of the African Champions League with 7 goals in 10 games, Muleka will now discover European football after scoring 57 goals in 85 games with the Ravens of Lubumbashi since its beginnings in 2017.
