One of the most anticipated works by all Ucayalinos is the improvement of the interconnection road to the San José Population Center from Puerto Callao, Yarinacocha district, which currently has a 96% progress of execution, so it is on the verge of being fully completed. – Given this, the regional manager of Infrastructure of the Regional Government of Ucayali, reported that approximately at the end of August the contractual part and the additional part will be completed, then a period will be expected to correct the observations that may arise. After this, it is estimated that in the month of November, this work would be being inaugurated. – The road project starts from the entrance to Electro Ucayali up to one block before the San José resort and includes: the improvement of the access road to the San José Town Center through rigid pavement of more than 4 kilometers of road with berms including the construction of 9 culverts, a reinforced concrete bridge 8 meters long and 15 meters wide, construction of curbs, reinforced concrete retaining walls, also includes the stabilization of 700 linear meters of slopes reinforced with the terramesh system , the planting of more than 10 thousand square meters of natural grass and more than a hundred seedlings in all the green areas.- It should be noted that there is an additional regarding electrification; this corresponds to the company Electro Ucayali, who must carry out the relocation of the electric poles that are in the middle of the road in a certain section of the highway. It is necessary to remember that this project will improve connections with different villages and population centers surrounding the area, as well as being fruitful for the tourism sector due to the rapid access to the San José spa, among others. –
Finally, the regional manager of Infrastructure urged the population to remain calm, since the current management has been making efforts so that the work is completed as soon as possible for the benefit of the entire Ucayalina population.
