“The Homeland Card will be one of the fundamental instruments for the application of the plans of the Great AgroVenezuela Mission.”
This was announced by the head of state and government, Nicolás Maduro, this Wednesday when he presented the country with the plan to relaunch the Great AgroVenezuela Mission.
The National President explained that the data from the Homeland System will be used to grant financing, inputs, seeds and all the support required by the country’s producers.
“To motivate, raise the productive will, so that our Homeland is a nation that achieves food and productive independence,” said the President, stressing that the platform of the command, control and communications center will be adapted to the monitoring and control of the Great AgroVenezuela Mission.
This Great Mission was created by Commander Hugo Chávez, in 2012, with the objective of guaranteeing the right to food security through technical assistance, provision of inputs and financing for agricultural producers.
In this sense, President Maduro has raised the need to resume it and adapt it to the new times in Venezuela. / Presidential Press.
