Carabineros reported this afternoon that will extend “for a sufficient time” the current form of obtaining temporary permits on the Virtual Police Station website, because to date only one million people have registered to access the new modality.

There are currently three ways to request temporary permits and safe-conduct at the Virtual Police Station: the identity card number -or visit entry- the Unique Code and the local registry. The new modality will govern 7 of the 14 temporary permits, including those for cpurchases, payment of services, assistance to a health center, delivery of supplies to the elderly, transfer of minors and marriage or civil union.
