A car is burning heavily on the E18 at Slependen in the direction of Oslo. No injuries were reported.

Vegtrafikksentralen øst reports Twitter that the E18 direction Oslo is closed due to the car fire. Extinguishing in progress.
– The emergency services are on their way to a fire in a car on the E18 at Slependen, direction Oslo. There is some smoke development, but the extent is otherwise unknown. The car is in the public transport area and the traffic passes slowly, the police in Oslo wrote on Twitter around 10.45.
The fire brigade reports that the car was overheated when they arrived at the scene.
The head of operations in the Oslo police, Tor Gulbrandsen, tells VG that there has been one person in the car and that the person in question has escaped.
– The person in question will be supervised by an ambulance, but no injuries have been reported so far.
Affects traffic
The operations manager says there is a lot of smoke development on the site, but that it is decreasing. The fire brigade is in the process of extinguishing.
– The road is temporarily blocked, but the traffic passes in one field towards Sandvika.
He says they do not yet know the cause of the fire.
– It is a little too early to be able to say what has happened.
There has also been an accident with three cars, one of which has a trailer, collided. According to the police on Twitter, the accident appears to be a rear-end collision.
