A couple was captured because they allegedly killed their newborn daughter, according to information published on the Cicpc instagram site. In this case the detainees are Gioanderson Alejandro Arrieche Blanco (19) and his partner of 14 years, who reside in the Caña de Azúcar urbanization, Maracay, Aragua state.
The teenager gave birth to a girl inside the house and five days later they threw her in a trash can, causing bruises that eventually led to her death.
The girl and boy were cousins and have been in a love relationship for more than a year, according to police investigations.
They apparently feared that their relatives would not approve of such a relationship.
Neighbors observed the lifeless body of the creature and notified the Cicpc, whose officials arrested the couple and turned them over to the Public Ministry.
