Today, the organizing committee of the Cannes International Film Festival has decided that it will not accept official delegations or representatives associated with the Russian government. This was reported Interfax-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the organizing committee.

This decision was made because of the war in Ukraine.

The Cannes Film Festival is one of the oldest and most prestigious film festivals in the world. It is held at the end of May in the resort town of Cannes in France.

As Focus wrote earlier, due to the fact that Russia unleashed a war in Ukraine, many luxury brands may stop deliveries of their products to the Russian Federation.
