Candidates Robinson in tears: ‘Dear mom, I miss you’ | show

Who will win which trial, suffer the most hunger or hatch the meanest plans to vote others out? Reporter Dennis Jansen looks back weekly in the Expedition Jansen section Expeditie Robinson in three themes: heartache, hunger and hero.

hunger
The hunger for the final is growing. Who’s going to make it? Who else falls? What will the semi-final look like? What a cliffhanger, huh? Not quite yet – for the older young people among us – Who shot J.R. Ewing. That Jay-Jay’s tower is going to fall, of course, you know that too. And that Sandra wins. Or Robert. That would be something. Robbert, who didn’t win an individual test, who was quite comfortable with the eating test, which he didn’t even have to start with, which slips through everything. Robbert, for whom I increasingly have a soft spot. He had a pure chat – about being who you want to be – with Jay-Jay. It was hilarious that they switched swimsuits. And it was strong that Robbert did tell Sandra what it was all about: that she had been too generous with the rice and flour. “Everyone was complaining, but nobody is saying it.” Robbert Robinson, that sounds pretty good.

Held
How would René van Meurs have watched this episode? Sniffing at the moment Britte dropped her pancake in the sand? “Karma,” she said herself. For the “dirty” game she’d been playing. First Rene, with whom she is a private friend, of course, bonjour from the game and then, after a decent piece of acting, also eliminate Jasmine. It was by no means a hero’s role tonight. Britte missed the victory in the block stacking test by half a second. She went from heaven to hell, because she thought she had won, jumped a hole in the air, but when Kaj Gorgels told that Anouk was a little faster, the joy dance gave way to a stamp foot dance. Would René or Jasmine have texted her tonight? Something like ‘just right’ or ‘hahaha’ or… ‘karma!’

Hartzeer
It was quite cruel to have Do, Anouk and Sandra puzzle and suddenly have the voices of their loved ones heard. “Dear mama, I miss you,” Do’s daughter lisped. ,,I think you have one more thing to do, win. I see you doing it, get them Tiger”, said Anouk’s friend. “We are incredibly proud of how far you have come and what you have achieved,” said Sandra’s husband. ,,Hold on!” The three – now more than four weeks without their loved ones – broke one by one, stopped puzzling for a moment and wiped the tears from their eyes. Afterwards they gave each other a hug that will be waiting for them at home too. Yes, I have complained many times this season. Too many candidates, too many ambiguities, unequal opportunities and a lot of arbitrariness. Fortunately, tonight’s program also showed its pure side, with lump-in-the-throat images. That’s also Expeditie Robinson.
