The countries participating in the tournament were determined by the ranking of the best player of each country in the ATP. Denis Shapovalov, 12e world player, allowed Canada to get their hands on one of the last tickets available.

Canada will face each of its opponents once. The duels will consist of two singles matches and one doubles match. Only one formation per group will reach the semi-finals.
