jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Digital forensic expert Ruby Alamsyah commented on the police statement that said the CCTV at the house of the Head of the Propam Police Division Inspector General Ferdy Sambo had been damaged two weeks before the shooting incident that killed Brigadier J by Bharada E.

Ruby said that the broken CCTV couldn’t be checked again because it couldn’t save any data

“The CCTV was damaged two weeks before the incident, if you refer to this, it means that the CCTV did not store any data at all on the day of the incident,” Ruby told JPNN.com, Wednesday (13/7) night.

Ruby assessed that the police could conduct a scientific investigation to ensure that the CCTV had been damaged two weeks before the incident.

The aim is to find out when the CCTV was last turned on and record so that at least the police can check and answer the issue of the alleged affair of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo’s wife with Brigadier J.

“By doing a digital forensic analysis so that it can be scientifically ascertained when was the last time the CCTV system was turned on and recorded,” said Ruby.

The head of the local RT, who is also a former High Police Officer, said that the CCTV decoder at the security post of the housing complex was also taken by the police on Saturday (9/7) or the day after the unfortunate incident.

The CCTV decoder is a machine as well as video file storage media.
