HUAWEI’s various teaching programs for the benefit of Cameroonian student youth are bearing fruit.
On July 12, the President of the Board of Directors (PCA) of the Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (ART), Prof. Justine DIFFO, received in audience, a former winner of the “SEEDS FOR THE FUTURE 2017” Program, from the world leader in telecommunications, the Chinese equipment manufacturer HUAWEI. Edouard Yannick MEKONGO ABANDA, since it is about him, is the inventor of the humanoid robot “PI CAR B MARS ROVER”. The innovation makes it possible to perform surgical operations remotely, perform facial recognition of people and objects, control drones and emit alerts from ultrasound.
Regarding the audience granted to him by the PCA of ART, Mr. MEKONGO ABANDA was accompanied by the Public Relations Director of HUAWEI ZONE CEMAC, Mrs. Edmonde TEBOH DJIOKENG. “The philosophy of HUAWEI CAMEROUN is to participate and support the strategy of the Government of Cameroon in ICT know-how for young students so that they are more competent in the international labor market, as well as in asks employers of large companies and also the possibility of independent work such as startups “, declared Ms. TEBOH during the hearing. And the HUAWEI ZONE CEMAC Public Relations Director added that since 2016, HUAWEI has been a corporate citizen involved in the training and transfer of skills to Cameroonian student youth, and that she was happy to see that the ICT program SEEDS FOR THE FUTURE of HUAWEI 2017 allowed a young Cameroonian passionate about this field, to innovate, in order to provide solutions to the daily problems of Cameroonians.
The gratitude of ART to HUAWEI
