In January 2015 Cameron Diaz (49) surprised many by getting married with the seven year younger artist Benji Madden (42). The couple had then only been lovers for just over eight months.
The love has nevertheless proved to be strong, and in December 2019 they also became parents to daughter Raddix Madden (1.5).
Benji Madden plays in the rock band «Good Charlotte» together with his twin brother Joel Madden (42), who is married with designer and TV profile Nicole Richie (40).

“He’s hot”
And it was through Joel and Nicole that the duo became famous.
– I met him through my current sister-in-law and brother-in-law. I met them first and even though they did not set up a blind date between us, we ended up in the same room because of them, and then we found each other, reveals the “Charlie’s Angels” star in the podcast Anna Faris Is Unqualified, according to People.
Furthermore, Diaz admits that she was surprised that she had never seen Benji before, whereupon her business partner Katherine Power adds that she thinks it is funny since she had seen his twin brother.
Talking about the daughter for the first time
But the actor says that there is only one Benji – despite the fact that he has an identical twin brother.
– They are not the same. They are incredibly different. Even though they are twins, they are obviously very, very different, Diaz explains and tells more about the first meeting with her husband.
