Calamity in Ovar: “What would appear to us now” | Report

The main concern of Patrick Jorge, 39, is his parents. Especially his father, 70, who had started to have a fever by the end of Tuesday afternoon. The problem is that Patrick, his wife and his nine-month-old son have covid-19, as they informed them this morning, after having performed the tests, the previous day, at Santo Geral Hospital, in Porto. The family lives in the same house, but there are days that they do not share the same floor, and the symptoms of the youngest are almost none. But they know that the risk is greater for the elderly and, therefore, the concern does not leave them. The couple and the baby are three of those infected in the municipality of Ovar who, this Tuesday, saw the “state of calamity” declared.
