Vice presidential candidate number 1, Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin talked about the importance of developing the country through personality formation. Cak Imin said that now many young people are affected by mental disorders.
“The development of a developed country is not just a magnificent Presidential Palace, not just high-rise malls, not just tall buildings, that is necessary. But what is more necessary is a generation that has good morals. Development is not just physical, what is important is the soul,” said Cak Imin during a campaign in Bekasi Regency, Monday (18/12/2023).
Cak Imin said that many young people currently experience stress easily due to a lack of personality strengthening. He considers this to be a disease that is starting to attack the younger generation.

“Now it’s even worse, many young people are what they call disturbed, not mentally ill, no. Mental disorders. What are mental disorders? Easily stressed, easily thrown into tantrums, easily frustrated, not optimistic, not sure about the future,” said Cak Imin.
He concluded the importance of the role of students in developing young people’s personalities. What’s more, continue Cak Iminyoung people are important figures in advancing the nation with the demographic bonus that Indonesia has.
