KOMPAS.com – A police officer with the initials Kompol Z on duty at Riau Police arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Task Force Team.
He was arrested on Saturday (13/3/2021) at around 23.00 WIB on suspicion of a case of narcotics trafficking.
During the arrest, the police managed to secure evidence in the form of one kilogram of crystal methamphetamine from the hands of the perpetrators.
“The Anti-Narcotics Task Force Team arrested Z (49) with BB (evidence) 1 kilogram of crystal methamphetamine,” explained Head of Public Relations of the Riau Police, Kombes Pol Sunarto when confirmed by reporters via WhatsApps, Tuesday (16/3/2021) night.

Killed as a result of a heart attack
When taken to the Riau Police Headquarters, the perpetrator was found to suddenly be unconscious.
The perpetrator was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately his life was not saved.
The cause of the death of the perpetrator is suspected of having a heart attack.
“The perpetrator was unconscious when he arrived at Mako (Riau Police). (Finally) died at the Riau Police Bhayangkara Hospital due to a heart attack,” said Sunarto.

It is known that drug abuse cases committed by police officers are not the only time this has happened.
As is known, some time ago, a police officer named Kompol IZ who served at the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of the Riau Police, was also caught carrying 16 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine.
The police officers were arrested by the Riau Police Ditresnarkoba Team, on Jalan Soekarno Hatta, Kota Pekanbaru, Riau, Friday (23/10/2020).
