Business leaders, because it is difficult to name otherwise people who want several times more money for iPads and iPhones with Fortnite installed.
Fortnite has been removed from the App Store and cannot be downloaded in any way. The only way to play on iPads and iPhones is to have the latest version of Fortnite, which is 13.40.
The game will probably not be updated to version 14.00, which is the new season, but this does not prevent sellers from offering Apple hardware at a price several times higher in the event that Fortnite is installed on the devices.
How is business doing today?
For Android, anyone can download the APK file from the official Epic Games website. Apple is a different pair of wellies and there is no way to install it from an external file. Therefore, ebay and other auction sites have been flooded with offers from “Fortnite installed”.
7th generation iPad with the Buy Now price PLN 7426? The normal price is PLN 1400-2000. Fortnite made such a big difference, however, that the prices skyrocketed.
Of course, offers of this type are completely unprofitable and hardly anyone will decide to buy. However, the niche was created and will probably be used also in Poland.
So far, there is no information from Epic Games or Apple as to whether the companies intend to get along. The worst-case scenario is no Fortnite update on devices with the bitten apple logo.
