“You’re not welcome here” and “Fuck it off”: Australia Prime Minister Scott Morrison was greeted with harsh words in a village in New South Wales. Australia’s most populous country is currently suffering the most from the unprecedented level of fire. The conservative government has long been accused of not doing enough to combat the climate crisis that favors droughts and forest fires.
Morrison also visited fire destroyed areas and fundraisers. He understood the anger of the citizens, but did not see the reason for this in his government’s actions.
