In the opening match of the 12th round of the German flagship football league (Bundesliga), Augsburg, who escaped relegation, defeated Bayern Munich 2-1 at home with a huge surprise.
Thomas Müller took his 600th career in Bayern. Only Sepp Maier (702), Oliver Kahn (632) and Gerd Müller (607) played in the bets with the Bavarians several times.

However, the anniversary performance did not turn out well. Mads Pedersen for he took the lead for Augsburg in the 23rd minute and then André Hahn also invented. Robert Lewandowski it was beautified even in the first half (just from Thomas Müller’s pass), so the teams took a 2-1 home lead.
Interesting statistics: Lewandowski scored his 11th goal against Augsburg away. In the Bundesliga, only Gerd Müller was able to score so many goals away against the same team, the Nation bomber on the Schalke field was effective eleven times. For Müller, it was his 20th goal pass in 2021. Within a calendar year, only Ángel di María (2011 and 2014) and Mesut Özil (2015) recorded so many assistants in the top five leagues.
Records so, records so, at the break at Bayern hardly anyone cared about these numbers, as the job had to be reversed in the second half.
But Bayern was better at almost every element of the game, holding almost 80 percent of the ball, unable to catch up with Augsburg in key scores.
Despite the defeat, Bayern will certainly remain in the lead after the round, and Augsburg is no longer in the rankings with this success.
