The decision not to attend Lavrov’s speech is a political sign that Bulgaria sent to Russia”, commented the former Minister of Foreign Affairs Nadezhda Neinski on Nova News.

According to her, Lavrov’s visit was an attempt to test the situation on the ground, possibly also to meet with the US Secretary of State. “He didn’t go there to hear what his colleagues thought, he went there to tell himself and left, because this is the Russian understanding of dialogue,” added the former minister.

“Russia is constantly trying to impose the thesis, on the principle of the Chinese trickle, that their rules are the only ones that work. And if they are accepted by the international community, the conflict will be resolved. Which is clearly not the case, and this was shown at the OSCE meeting. The democratic international community showed an extremely negative attitude towards him as a sign of presence,” Neinski said.

Regarding the war in the Middle East, Nadezhda Neinsky commented that “Hamas” is clearly underestimated. “Nobody denies that.
