Cheryl Baker spoke about the financial impact of the pandemic and how she sells clothes to make ends meet.
The Bucks Fizz hitmaker, 66, has been frank about how she has been hit hard by the pandemic and government regulations, so much so that she grows her own vegetables for food and “struggles to pay for her taxes ”.
Now she is told that her daughters have helped her settle on eBay so that she can search some property in the house.
“Clothes and all kinds of clothes,” she told the Daily Mail, “My daughters do it for me.
“Although I don’t have the proper jewelry, it’s all fake, with my furniture and the paintings on the wall! “
Cheryl, who won Eurovision with Bucks Fizz in the early 1980s, had previously toured with teammates Mike Nolan and Jay Ashton as breakaway group The Fizz.
But as Covid continues to ravage the live entertainment industry, concerts aren’t an option, Cheryl revealed she took a plunge into her pension to pay off the mortgage.
