It’s official, Mariah Carey and Brian Tanaka are separated! It is the dancer who confirmed on Instagram that his relationship with the Christmas queen had indeed ended.
“Dear friends and fans, with mixed emotions, I share this personal update regarding my amicable separation from Mariah Carey after seven extraordinary years together,” he wrote, revealing that their “decision to taking different paths is mutual.” They maintain, for each other, “a deep respect and an overwhelming feeling of gratitude”. “The memories we created and the artistic collaborations are etched in my heart forever,” he concluded.
The couple had worked together for ten years, before starting dating in 2016.
