UA cyclist found herself trapped under a bus on Monday around 5:30 p.m. on Place Eugène Simonis in Koekelberg, Brussels firefighter spokesman Walter Derieuw said in the evening. The vehicle is owned by a private company and was not carrying any passengers.
Firefighters extricated the victim with his bicycle. She suffers from an open fracture in her ankle.
The circumstances of the accident must still be established on the basis of the usual findings made by the police.
