The Brighton and Hove Albion of England announced on Thursday that banned from their stadium for life yet Arsenal fanafter the latter was sentenced for have made homophobic chants during a match in 2021.
The 21-year-old Gunners fan tried to leave the premises discreetly after realizing that the stadium employees had discovered him, but he was detained by the police.

In your statement the club “celebrates the sentence and the three-year ban on entry to any stadium football against a fan who had shouted homophobic slurs“, announced by a court on Tuesday.
A spokesman quoted in the statement added that the young man “also will have an unlimited ban on entry to Amex Stadium“. “We have a zero tolerance approach with all forms of antisocial behavior, and this includes any form of abuse,” he added.
The judicial measures of exclusion of stadiums (Football Banning Orders) are taken by courts and prohibit the convicted person from entering the stadiums, both as a local and as a visitor. They usually have one duration between two and ten years depending on the seriousness of the alleged facts.
However, teams have the possibility of being banned from their stadiums without a time limit in the event of a conviction, as is the case with Brighton and Hove Albion.
