According to the information, several vehicles including a dumper and a motorcycle fell into the river below due to the collapse of the bridge in Vastadi area of ​​Surendranagar district of Gujarat on Sunday. According to media reports, District Collector KC Sampat said regarding this incident that this bridge is 40 years old. It connects the National Highway to Chura. This bridge is in a dilapidated condition, the authorities had already banned the movement of heavy vehicles on this bridge. The Collector said that the bridge has already been handed over to the Roads and Buildings Department and approval has also been given to build a new structure.
