Dubai: “The Gulf”
The Emirates Cancer Society, in collaboration with the “Volunteer Geniuses” team and the Positive Spirit Initiative, organized a “Pink Hope” march on Al Mamzar Beach, Dubai, to coincide with the conclusion of the International Cancer Awareness Month at otherwise.
In the presence and patronage of Sheikha Fatima bint Hasher bin Dalmouk Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Rakad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Cancer Society, with the participation of Kawthar Mohammed Al Rahali, head of the team of geniuses volunteers, representatives of government institutions and various entities, and about 500 participants including women, employees and community members.
Sheikha Fatima bint Hasher bin Dalmouk Al Maktoum commended the efforts made during Breast Cancer Awareness Month to raise social awareness of the importance of ensuring early diagnosis and increasing the chances of recovery.
Sheikh Salem bin Rakkad praised the wise leadership’s great support for health services, supports efforts and initiatives to fight cancer, and provides the latest necessary therapeutic and diagnostic technologies that include breast cancer patients by all means of care and care.
Kawthar Muhammad Al-Rahali stressed that the Pink March in Mamzar, Dubai, has achieved its goals and helped provide free exam opportunities for women by distributing exam coupons to all participating women and associations.
Finally, certificates of thanks and appreciation were given to the participating organizations, companies and institutions that played a role and support in the success of the march and its objectives.
