The shooting is said to have happened in a park in the city of Philadelphia. Five people were arrested after the shooting.

The incident took place in the west of Philadelphia, a city in the state of Pennsylvania, in the east of the country.
Police cordoned off a large area after the shooting. The incident must have happened at a park in the city. In the park there were several food trucks and tents. Over 1,000 people are said to have been present.
In a press conference after the incident, the police tell more about what happened.
– We are lucky today that we did not have more individuals shot and that no one was killed, says Kevin Bethel of the Philadelphia police.

He says there has been an exchange of fire between two groups inside the park where events were held, and that around 30 shots were fired.
They say that they have arrested five people and seized several weapons.
Police fired shots during the incident to gain control. A 15-year-old was shot by the police, the person has been sent to hospital.
Two other people were also shot during the incident.
– We think this happened during the shootout, says Bethel.

American media reported the incident at 15:00 local time. Around 21:00 Norwegian time.
CBS News wrote that several police units were on their way to the scene. They quickly gained control of the situation.
– People just wanted to have a good time, and then it happens again that young people with guns destroy, says Bethel of the Philadelphia police about the shooting incident.
