The criminal gang “Los Gallegos” was dismantled by police officers from the El Obrero Police Station, they operated in the province of Sullana

A man and a woman, of origin Colombian and Venezuelan respectively, were detained by the police on suspicion of belonging to the criminal gang known as «Galician” of Venezuelawhich specializes in the informal lending practice known as «drop by drop«. Additionally, in audio recordings, the detained individuals described their methods of operation in the province of Sullana, Piura.

The Police arrested the two foreigners for their alleged participation in extortion crimes related to the practice known as “Drop by drop«, as well as for usury. In addition, they face accusations of tax crimes related to tax fraud and money laundering.

After the arrest, both were detained at the police station so that the specialized police and the representative of the Public ministry will carry out the corresponding investigations.
