Bouzková played almost flawlessly, Minnen, who is six places higher in the ranking in 78th place, was not allowed a single break. She herself broke through the Belgian service four times, three of them in the second set. In the final gamma, the Czechs even succeeded in a clean game.
Bouzková, a native of Prague, stopped the black series in Luxembourg when she crossed the first round of the WTA circuit for the first time in three months. This year’s maximum is the February final at the Philip Island Trophy in Melbourne, the last quarterfinals she played in June in Birmingham.
