Boss who left husky in BMW with death threats | Inland

That owner is 41-year-old George Mardo from Groningen. “I am accused from all sides of animal cruelty, I get death threats thrown at my head,” he tells Dagblad van het Noorden. “Wait a minute, I love animals and my husky in particular.”

Mardo parked his striking car at a hardware store in Groningen on Friday, in his own words because he suffered from moles and was going to buy a remedy. “I didn’t want a clamp, because I’m an animal-friendly man.” He leaves his dog, 7-year-old Jace, in the back of the car with the air conditioning on. In the parking lot, he sees a cop punch in the window of his car. “I told the police that the air conditioning was on. Just feel, I said. ”

He doesn’t complain about the expense of having the window repaired. “I think it’s good that people want to save my dog.” He does find it annoying that he is dismissed as a villain. “Jace is my best friend, he always comes with me. He is spoiled, who would leave his dog in a car like that? Don’t you only do that if that dog is worth everything to you? And really, that car was a refrigerator. ”
