Bnl, agreement with unions on exits and hiring

Agreement between Bnl and trade unions for the generational turnover of employees. The agreement signed by the BNP Paribas group bank and Fabi. First Cisl. Uilca, Fosac Cgil and Unisin, provides for the possibility of leaving a potential 908 workers, of which 474 through the use of the sector Solidarity Fund and for the remainder through direct retirement.

Incentives are also provided for those who have already accrued or will accrue, by 1 July 2025, the right to an early pension or to “quota 100”, “quota 102”, quota “103” and “women’s option”. Given these exits, up to 776 hires will be made with a one-to-one replacement ratio for the ReteCommerciale, Direct and Csc (client facing employees) and a turnover rate of approximately 85%.

“I am particularly satisfied with this social impact plan, because it focuses on the employment of young people open to changes, evolutions and new skills, giving them the opportunity to enter the world of work and one of the largest banks in the country. At the same time, she replies to the will of those who, after years of career, want to live ‘the third half’ of their life. We have defined this agreement by finding a sustainable point of balance, with a medium-long term vision and attention to the new generations” , says Elena Goitini, CEO of BNL and head of the BNP Paribas group in Italy.

Positive words also from the opposite side. “I am very satisfied, the agreement recognizes new economic resources for all workers, attention to young people through investment in complementary pensions and takes into account the difficulties of people in contact with customers. Although it is not part of the agreement, I remain optimistic on the front of the reabsorption of ad personams of management: we believe it is essential to preserve the result achieved with the renewal of the national contract, where the role of Fabi was decisive. Our commitment remains continuous and intense” comments the Fabi coordinator in Bnl Bnp Paribas group, Fabio Armeni.

“We are very satisfied with this agreement which, using the Solidarity Fund on an exclusively voluntary basis, meets the company’s needs to encourage the early exit of workers by balancing it with a high number of hirings, mainly in the commercial network”: thus the national secretary Uilca Mariangela Verga.
