They Got Amnesia, an album at the end of the tunnel
Announced a few days ago, They Got Amnesia, French Montana’s fourth studio album will arrive in less than two weeks. The rapper, producer and philanthropist returned to social media to announce the release date of the album produced by Epic Records / Bad Boy Entertainment, while revealing the album’s cover at the same time. The latter is accompanied by a message that indicates the spirit of the work.
“THEY GOT AMNESIA ‘THE ALBUM ON NOVEMBER 12. I AM GREAT TO BE HERE TO TELL MY STORY ”, he wrote on Instagram.
Later in his post he explains why he voluntarily voluntarily coordinated the release date of The Got Amnesia with his previous hospitalization:
“TWO YEARS AGO, THAT SAME DAY, I WAS IN CRITICAL CARE, FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE. LOSS OF MEMORY, LOSS OF FRIENDS, LOSS OF HOPE, LOST EVERYTHING…. AND WHEN I WAS AT THE LOWEST, I DISCOVERED THAT ALL I HAD WAS ALLAH… HE PICKED UP ME AND GIVEN ME A SECOND CHANCE…. WHILE I TRYED TO BOUNCE BACK THEY COUNTED ME AND FORGOTTEN EVERYTHING WE DID ”
They Got Amnesia is Montana’s strongest project to date, as it fully embraces his roots, showing verbal dexterity and unpredictable flows that established him as a star in the first place. The rapper tells the story of the setbacks he went through, as well as the changes in his life. It also includes the anthem for the summer of 2021, “FWMGAB”, which has already been listened to by nearly 30 million people.
Beyond music
To further extend his influence, he recently announced his new collaboration with legendary perfumer Kilian Hennessy for a limited edition Angels’ Share fragrance from KILIAN Paris. Montana worked with Kilian on all the creative elements, giving the product a truly unique twist. The bottle of the Angels’ Share limited edition by Kilian – French Montana has a gold disc on its stopper, reminiscent of a microgroove disc, with engraved chains, a nod to Montana necklaces….
