Bloody times of the Jurassic conflict continue to have an effect

In 1974 and 1975 there was a cascade of memorable votes in the Bernese Jura: the municipalities of seven administrative districts had to decide whether they want to form a new canton of Jura. There is unprecedented nervousness in the region. Violence is in the air. Three days after the last ballot, in which Moutier definitely speaks out in favor of remaining in the canton of Bern, the tension erupts in hours of rioting.
