This year’s large-scale blitz marathon in Bavaria started at 6 a.m., during which the police headquarters in Lower Franconia also checked compliance with the maximum speed limit. It was the ninth large-scale traffic control in the region. According to the police, the background to the action is that the total speed exceeded is still the number one cause of accidents in Germany.
