Whether spectacular, ostentatious, flashy or questioning our relationship to money and appearance, the ring puts on a show!
24 jewelers from the Lyon region are invited to present their interpretation of “the Bling Bling Ring”. More than 70 jewels and sculptures are staged in a tailor-made scenography. Throughout the exhibition you will have access to a program of conferences, technical demonstrations and meetings with the artists.
What is contemporary jewelry?
At the borders of art, design and craftsmanship, contemporary jewelery is an artistic discipline that questions jewellery. Contemporary jewelers are shattering the traditional codes of jewelry, beauty, durability and preciousness.
Lyon being the cradle of jewelery in France, this event aims to put the spotlight on contemporary Lyon creation and to invite a diverse audience, curious, amateurs or more enlightened, to discover the diversity of contemporary jewellery.
